EXPERIENCE
Mr. Johnson has over 21 years of structural engineering experience. In his position as Senior Project Engineer, Mr. Johnson directs all structural design activities for residential, recreational, municipal and private development projects. Mr. Johnson is responsible for the management of the projects from proposal development through project closure. Activities include scheduling, code review, design and analysis, review of design documents, verification of construction conformance with design documents and quality control and assurance for all of the structural activities for a project. He has also performed numerous structural examinations and prepared due diligence reports for a variety of structures including recreational and commercial buildings and bridges. Mr. Johnson has additional structural engineering experience in fossil fuel power plant structure design including hot and cold flue gas duct work, duct work support superstructures and substructures, plan modification work and chimney and stack inspections. Mr. Johnson is also an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Harper College in Palatine, IL and Judson College in Elgin, IL. In this capacity he teaches structural engineering to students of Architecture.
