EXPERIENCE
Mr. Wilbur has over 32 years of structural engineering experience. In his position as Senior Project Engineer, Mr. Wilbur directs all structural design activities for industrial, commercial, municipal and private development projects. Mr. Wilbur is responsible for the management of the projects from proposal development through project closure. Activities include scheduling, code review, design and analysis, review of design documents, verification of construction conformance with design documents and quality control and assurance for all of the structural activities for a project. He has also performed numerous structural examinations and prepared due diligence reports for a variety of structures including industrial and commercial buildings and bridges. He successfully completed projects in the following business sectors include:

- Public works facilities in Barrington, Bolingbrook and Wheaton, IL
- Fire Stations in Addison, Bloomingdale, Clarendon Hills, Highland Park, Lockport, River Forest , Schaumburg and Wheaton, IL

Mr. Wilbur gained extensive experience in the steel and power sectors while working for American Bridge Division of United States Steel Corporation (USSC) in the 1970's and Sargent & Lundy Engineers in the 1980's and early 1990's. His successfully completed projects include:
Power-Related Projects
- Flue Gas Desulfurization system additions at three coal fired power plants
- Combustion turbine/combined cycle plants in Indiana
- Power plant betterment projects for utilities in Texas and Indiana
Steel Industry Projects
- Rebuild of two stock houses (railroad trestle with coke/iron ore storage bins) at USSC Gary Works
- Blast furnace relines (USSC Gary Works furnaces 6, 7, 9 and 10)
- Design of new steel mill buildings (USSC Texas Works, CB&I Cordova, Alabama)
- Structural examinations of numerous steel structures at U.S. Steel facilities in Indiana, Illinois and Minnesota
